CD writers, TDK Singapore today announced the addition of two new
CD Writers to its lineup - The 48x external USB2.0 CyClone CD Writers
Model UE481648 and the company's second slim portable model, the
sleek, stylish 24x USB2.0 Model PCD2410U2. Both CD writers feature
a host of improved product features and benefits, as well as unmatched
performance, compatibility and ease-of use for PC and laptop.

Both new TDK CD writers continue the company's mission of providing
users with today's most advanced CD burning solutions. The new Model
UE481648 External CyClone provides the industry's fastest performance
for any external burner, offering 48x write, 16x rewrite, 48x read
and 48x ripping speeds. And in addition to USB2.0 connectivity,
it is backward compatible with computers equipped with a USB 1.1
port.
The sleek, ultra light, attractive form factor that establish TDK's
first Slim Portable CD Writers (PCD8824U2) as the industry standard
for design excellence is refined in the company's new Slim Portable
Model PCD2410U2. Measuring just 180mm high by 138mm wide by 23mm
deep, and weighing 420g, the compact Slim Portable CD Writer delivers
high performance capabilities to match its breakthrough design,
offering 24x write, 10x rewrite, and 24x read/rip speeds - fast
enough to burn a complete CD-R in just four minutes. Adding to its
flexibility, the CD writer features USB2.0 connectivity. In addition,
the two new models will feature buffer underrun protection, which
eliminates buffer underrun errors for perfect recordings every time-even
during multitasking operations.
Like all TDK CyClone CD writers, the two new models come complete
with bundled software consisting of TDK Digital MixMaster music
management and recording software, plus Nero Express recording software,
In CDO drag-and-drop packet writing software, and the new NeroVision
Express video editing software, which allows users to create their
own VCDs from their home movies or video recordings.
